Resolution relative to the Notice of Hearing for the Vacation and Discontinuance of a 6-ft. x 300.53-ft. portion of City alley right-of-way between S. 58 St. and S. 60 St. north of W. Mineral St.

 

Body

WHEREAS, as part of a request by the City Engineer, the City is considering vacating a 6-ft. x 300.53-ft. portion of City alley right-of-way between S. 58 St. and S. 60 St. north of W. Mineral St. (just south of the former Roosevelt School property at approximately 932 S. 60 St.).

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the notice of hearing, for the vacation and discontinuance of a 6-ft. x 300.53-ft. portion of City alley right-of-way between S. 58 St. and S. 60 St. north of W. Mineral St. (just south of the former Roosevelt School property at approximately 932 S. 60 St.), be published in the official City newspaper on January 19, 2017, January 26, 2017 and February 2, 2017, and that the Hearing be scheduled before the Common Council on February 14, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard; that a copy of the aforesaid Notice be served or mailed more than thirty (30) days prior to the Hearing in the manner prescribed by the law on the owners of all of the frontage of the lots and lands abutting upon the said portion of right-of-way proposed to be vacated and discontinued.
