Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to amend an existing agreement with Corre, Inc. for Engineering Consulting Services to Design the repairs needed at the Lincoln Avenue Culvert over the Root River for a total sum not to exceed $1,810.00.

WHEREAS, The Lincoln Avenue Culvert over the Root River is in urgent need of repair with endwalls that are in danger of collapsing, and
WHEREAS, The City has an existing agreement with Corre, Inc. for bridge inspection services at all twelve (12) bridges in the City of West Allis as well as the Lincoln Avenue Culvert, and
WHEREAS, The City has an existing agreement with Corre, Inc. to prepare plans, specifications and estimates for bidding out the needed repairs on the Lincoln Avenue Culvert for an amount not to exceed $7,980.00; and,
WHEREAS, The City will need further assistance from Corre, Inc to coordinate needed permits with the Wisconsin DNR and to obtain a geotechnical report outlining the design parameters for the culvert end walls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the amended proposal dated November 28, 2016 submitted by Corre, Inc. for furnishing Engineering Consulting Services for the needed repairs to the Lincoln Avenue Culvert for a total sum not to exceed $1,810.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funding for this proposal comes from Bond Funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Contract, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and ...
