Resolution relative to accepting the single source proposal of Bruce Municipal for furnishing and delivering one (1) 2016 Elgin Pelican P Mechanical Street Sweeper with dual gutter brooms for a total net sum of $227,766.00.
Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a cooperative proposal through the NJPA (National Joint Power Alliance), Contract # 022014-FSC, for delivering one (1) Elgin Pelican P Mechanical Street Sweeper with 5-year engine warranty, and a Groeneveld automatic greasing system for the City of West Allis Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Division of the Public Works Department has determined that this contract meets all desired specifications, and that the cooperative agreement proposal received is reasonable; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Bruce Municipal be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated November 4, 2016, submitted by Bruce Municipal for furnishing and delivering one (1) new 2016 Elgin Street Sweeper, Model P, with automatic greasing system and 5-year engine warranty, for the total net sum of $227,766.00, be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
