Title

A Resolution to Delete City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual Policy No. 2815 Relating to the Interim 5-Year Sidewalk Review Program.

 

Body

WHEREAS, Policy No. 2815 sets forth rules and procedures for the Interim 5-year sidewalk review program; and

 

WHEREAS, current policy requires the Engineering Department and Public Works Department to review and repair sidewalks when certain criteria for defects are present every five years; and

 

WHEREAS, the policy sets forth duties that are not required by statute or law, may not be appropriate in every circumstance, and are adequately covered by the 10-year sidewalk review program; and

 

WHEREAS, it is recommended that Policy No. 2815, Interim 5-Year Sidewalk Review Program, be deleted from the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Policy No. 2815 be deleted from said City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that directions concerning deletion of said policies be communicated to all departments, divisions, and offices.
