A Resolution Relative to Amend the City’s Policies & Procedures Manual No. 1413 Relating to Extension of Time for Reporting Requirement Related to Health and Dental Insurance.

WHEREAS, Policy No. 1413 sets forth rules and procedures for the provision of health and dental insurance by the City for its employees, retirees and some of their dependents; and,
WHEREAS, current policy requires employees or retirees to notify the City in writing within 30 days of a change of status; and
WHEREAS, the policy makes no provision for extension of the time to so notify the City; and
WHEREAS, the extension of time to report a change of status will not have an adverse impact upon the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the amendments to Policy No. 1413 as attached hereto are hereby approved and adopted.
