Title

Resolution amending agreement with Barrientos Design & Consulting for providing architectural design and construction management services for a Police Training Facility in an amount not to exceed $9,000.

Body

WHEREAS, the West Allis Police Department has proposed to build a Police Training Facility adjacent to the Police Headquarters on Lincoln Avenue; and,

WHEREAS, the intent of this facility is for simulation of residential police events such as simulation raids and arrest events; and,

WHEREAS, the facility will be modeled after home construction and will have typical wood-frame stud wall construction with the inside unfinished except for two sets of stairs, plywood covered stud walls, electrical outlets, light fixtures and interior columns.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis approves an amendment to the current agreement with Barrientos Design & Consulting to include architectural services related to the architectural design and construction management services for construction of a Police Training Facility in an amount not to exceed $9,000.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the appropriate City officials are authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Barrientos with the funding provided by the appropriate account(s).
