Resolution to amend Resolution No. R-2016-0002 to modify the term to demolish an existing building (former Roosevelt School building) and approve a Certified Survey Map to subdivide the existing School District property into two lots, for the purposes of the construction of a new medical facility at 932 S. 60 St., submitted by the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et al. (current owner) and Cardinal Capital Management, Inc. (purchaser) Tax Key No. 438-0196-001.

Body
WHEREAS, the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et al., the property owner, and Cardinal Capital Management, purchaser, have submitted a Certified Survey Map to subdivide the existing property into two lots, for the purposes of the construction of a new medical facility at 932 S. 60 St. (fronting S. 60 St.)

WHEREAS, on March 1, 2016 the Common Council adopted R-2016-0002 approving said Certified Survey Map and granted a 6 month extension of time to record the map and its documents with the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.

WHEREAS, the property owner will grant the City of West Allis easements as described and shown on said Certified Survey Map hereof toward the operation and maintenance of sewer lines, utilities and access to the site.

WHEREAS, prior to recording the Certified Survey Map and its documents, the property owner will post a demolition bond or financial letter of Credit, and submit to the Department of Development, to insure that the building is demolished as represented. The surety will be maintained until the building is properly demolished and inspected. A (demolition) permit shall be applied for within 30 days of the adoption of this resolution, and the building shall be demolished within 90 days of recording the Certified Survey Map or this approval terminates.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis,
