Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Cascade Cart Solutions for furnishing and delivering recycling carts for a sum of $1,093,229.95.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a cooperative proposal through the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) Contract #020613CEI for furnishing and delivering recycling carts to the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Cascade Cart Solutions be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated June 27, 2016 submitted by Cascade Cart Solutions for providing 22,570- 96 gallon recycling carts, 225- 64 gallon recycling carts, lid labeling, assembly and distribution, RFID tags, and software for a total net sum of $1,093,229.95 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid materials.
