Title

Resolution to approve Memorandum of Understanding by and between the City of West Allis and the Governmental Agencies comprising the Milwaukee High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (“HIDTA”) for certain purchasing and fiscal agent services for the years 2017-2021.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the governmental agencies comprising the Milwaukee High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (“HIDTA”) have requested the City of West Allis to provide certain purchasing and fiscal agent services for the years 2017-2021; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board of Police and Fire Commissioners of the City of West Allis has approved the provision of the aforesaid services and has recommended approval by the Common Council.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Memorandum of Understanding by and between the HITDA and the City of West Allis, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, be and is hereby approved.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Officers be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the aforesaid Memorandum on behalf of the City of West Allis.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator be and is hereby authorized to make such  non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity, and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
