Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Garland Company, Inc. for furnishing and delivering roofing materials for the DPW Building for a total sum of $46,609.20.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a cooperative proposal through the U.S. Communities Contract #14-5903 for furnishing and delivering roofing materials for the Department of Public Works of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Garland Company, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated June 2, 2016 submitted by Garland Company, Inc. for furnishing and delivering 600 gallons of Garlaprime primer, roofing sealant, training and project supervision to repair the DPW roof for a total net sum of $46.409.20.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid supplies.
