Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of First Supply, LLC for furnishing and delivering fire hydrants for a total sum of $205,632.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for fire hydrants for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of First Supply, LLC be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated May 25, 2016 submitted by First Supply, LLC for furnishing and delivering one hundred twelve (112) 2016 Kennedy Guardian fire hydrants at $1,836.00 each for a total sum of $205,632.00 in accordance with RFP 1326 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
