Resolution relative to accepting the proposals of various electrical suppliers for furnishing and delivering electrical wire, conduit, luminaires and accessories for a total sum of $43,410.85.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering electrical wire, conduit, luminaires and accessories for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals hereinafter mentioned be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated April 25, 2016 submitted by CED Interstate Electric for $8655.25, the proposal dated April 14, 2016 submitted by Crescent Electric for $194.60, the proposal dated April 25, 2016 submitted by GexPro for $33,086.50, the proposal dated April 25, 2016 submitted by Millennium for $827.20, the proposal dated April 25, 2016 submitted by MSC Industrial Supply for $63.52 and the proposal dated April 25, 2016 submitted by Werner Electric for $583.78 for a total net sum of $43,410.85 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1323 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid materials.
