Resolution to approve bid of American Sewer Services, Inc. for the installation of sanitary sewer relay, sanitary sewer spot relays and miscellaneous utility adjustments in various locations within the City of West Allis in the amount of $668,057.00

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of American Sewer Services, Inc. for 2014 Project No. 18 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of American Sewer Services, Inc. for 2014 Project No. 18 for the installation of sanitary sewer relay, sanitary sewer spot relays and miscellaneous utility adjustments in:
Various Locations within the City of West Allis
(PLAN FILE NOS. X-838, X-839, X-840, S-1524, S-1525, S-1526, S-1527, S-1528, S-1529, S-1530)
for the sum of Six Hundred Sixty-Eight Thousand Fifty-Seven 00/100 dollars ($668,057.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding from Sanitary Sewer Funds.
