Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Casper's Truck Equipment for furnishing and installing one (1) Dump Body, Hydraulic System and 3.5 cu. yd. Auger Spreader for a total sum of $29,061.00.

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing one (1) 9' stainless steel dump body, hydraulic system and 3.5 cu. yd. V-box stainless steel auger spreader for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Casper's Truck Equipment be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated November 10, 2014 submitted by Casper's Truck Equipment for furnishing and installing one (1) 2015 Henderson Mark III 9' stainless steel dump body for $12,407.00; one (1) 2015 Force America with Add-A-Stack hydraulic system for $6,584.00 and one (1) 2015 Henderson 8' FSM with stand auger spreader for $10,070.00 for a total net sum of $29,061.00 all in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #1254 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
