Resolution showing a decrease in 2015 to the solid waste fund Customer Class 1 user charge
Body
WHEREAS, Section 15.03 authorizes the Common Council to revise the solid waste user charges necessary to insure that the system generates adequate revenues to pay the cost of operation and maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the 2015 budget approved by the Common Council on November 18, 2014 requires a decrease to the Customer Class 1 solid waste user charge to pay the cost of operation and maintenance
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that there be a decrease in 2015 to the customer class 1 solid waste user charge and the new rate to decrease from $24.81 to $22.50 per residential unit, and is hereby approved effective
January 1, 2015
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Manager be and is hereby directed to notify each user of the Sanitary Sewer Collection System of the aforesaid rate decrease as provided in Section 1.07(4)(f) of the Revised Municipal Code.
