Resolution relative to determination of Special Use Permit for the placement of antenna and associated equipment on the City Water Tower located at 11515 W. Rogers St.

WHEREAS, Clint Wingate d/b/a Ideal Location Chicago Real Estate, LLC (agent representing AT&T mobility), duly filed with the City Clerk an application for a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Sec. 12.16, 12.23 and 12.45(2) of the Revised Municipal Code to collocate new telecommunication equipment and antennas onto the existing tower. The new installations include six (6) LTE panel antennas and six (6) new remote radio units and associated equipment that would be installed approximately at 174-ft in height above grade on the existing municipal water tower. The existing tower is approximately 165-ft in height. Existing ground level equipment and corresponding screen fencing located on site will service the new antennas.

WHEREAS, after due notice, a public hearing was held by the Common Council on November 18, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chamber to consider the application; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council, having carefully considered the evidence presented at the public hearing and the following pertinent facts noted:

1. The applicant, Clint Wingate d/b/a Ideal Location Chicago Real Estate, LLC (agent representing AT&T mobility), has offices at 1127 W. Madison St. Chicago, IL 60607.

2. The applicant is proposing to install six (6) new LTE panel antennas and six (6) new remote radio units and associated equipment at 174-ft in height above grade on the existing municipal water tower. The existing tower is approximately 165-ft in height. Existing ground level equipment and corresponding screen fencing located on site will service the new antennas located in the City of West Allis, WI, Milwaukee County, more particularly described as follows:
