Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of HD Supply Waterworks for furnishing and delivering fire hydrants for a total sum of $195,944.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for fire hydrants for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of HD Supply Waterworks be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated October 29, 2014 submitted by HD Supply Waterworks for furnishing and delivering one hundred twelve (112) 2015 Mueller A423 fire hydrants at $1,749.50 each for a total sum of $195,944.00 in accordance with RFP 1252 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
