Resolution relative to determination of a Special Use Permit for Lily Massage, a proposed massage therapy business, to be located at 10637 W. Oklahoma Ave.

WHEREAS, Philip Wong, on behalf of Li Juan He d/b/a Lily Massage, duly filed with the City Clerk an application for a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Sec. 12.43(2), and Sec. 12.16 of the Revised Municipal Code, for the proposed establishment of a massage therapy business to be located within a portion of the property at 10637 W. Oklahoma Ave.; and,

WHEREAS, after due notice, a public hearing was held by the Common Council on October 7, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., in the Common Council Chambers to consider the application; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council, having carefully considered the evidence presented at the public hearing and the following pertinent facts noted:

1. The applicant, Philip Wong, on behalf of Li Juan He d/b/a Lily Massage, resides at 2364 N. 117 St., Wauwatosa, WI 53226. The property owner, Josh Saiia, resides at 2817D Edwards St., East Troy, WI 53210.

2. The applicant has a valid offer to lease tenant space within the property located at 10637 W. Oklahoma Ave., West Allis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as follows:

All the land of the owner being located in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 17, Township 6 North, Range 21 East, City of West Allis, Milwaukee County, State of Wisconsin, describes as follows:

Lots 1 and 2 in Block 1 of the Blatz Homestead subdivision.

Tax Key No. 524-0001-001

Said land is located at 10637 W. Oklahoma Ave.

3. The applicant is proposing to establish a massage therapy business within the multi-tenant commercial building and will offer the following non-inclusive services: massages, foot massages, full body deep-tissue massages and hydrotherapy massages.
