Resolution Granting a Privilege for Encroachment (Major) to New Owner Beacher Investments LLC for property located at 7519-33 West Becher Street (Tax Key No. 476-0442-000).

Body

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. R-2003-0132, adopted April 15, 2003, the City of West Allis granted to SARS Property Holdings LLC a certain Privilege for Encroachment Beyond the Lot Line and Within Public Street Right-of-Way consisting of existing two (2) four by four (4 x 4) foot platforms with the lowest portion to be at least fourteen (14) feet above the alley on the east side and above the sidewalk on the west side of the building on the property located at 7519-33 West Becher Street (“Privilege”); and,

WHEREAS, on October 4, 2010, the City of West Allis granted to SARS Property Holdings LLC a revised Privilege for Encroachment Beyond the Lot Line and Within Public Street Right-of-Way consisting of the addition of a sign, awnings, and two (2) metal and wood park benches and outdoor ashtrays (to the left and right of the front door of the building) on a part of South 76th Street and West Becher Street; and,

WHEREAS, the property has now changed ownership to Beacher Investments LLC, who desires to retain the Privilege.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of West Allis grants to Beacher Investments LLC the Privilege for Encroachment Beyond the Lot Line and within Public Street Right-of-Way consisting of existing two (2) four by four (4 x 4) foot platforms with the lowest portion to be at least fourteen (14) feet above the alley on the east side and above the sidewalk on the west side of the building, sign, awnings, and two (2) metal and wood park benches and outdoor ashtrays (to the left and right of the front door of the building) on a part of South 76th Street and West Becher Street on the property located at 7519-33 West Becher Street.
