Resolution reauthorizing the Director of Development to negotiate the sale of approximately 14.52 acres of public land located at 11301 W. Lincoln Avenue (a portion of Tax Key No. 484-9995-004) to the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et. al.

Body
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis (the “City”) is the owner of certain real property located at 11301 W. Lincoln Avenue. (Tax Key No. 484-9995-004) (the “Property”); and,

WHEREAS, the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et. al. is acquiring the land to develop an outdoor soccer complex; and,

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis's 2030 Comprehensive Plan calls for future land use of the Property to be “Public Land”; and,

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis does not have a long-term public use for said Property; and,

WHEREAS, Common Council approval is subject to the Plan Commission declaration the property to be surplus public property.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of West Allis hereby reauthorizes the sale of approximately 14.52 acres of public land located at 11301 W. Lincoln Avenue (a portion of Tax Key No. 484-9995-004) to the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et. al.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council authorizes the Director of Development or his designee, to sell the property for one ($1) dollar and other good and viable consideration, to negotiate, enter into, execute and deliver into any Agreements or Documents pertaining to the Sale of Land, including, but not limited to an Offer to Purchase, by and between the City of West Allis and the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et. al.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the any Agreements or Documents pertaining to the Sale of Land, including, but not limited to an Offer to Purchase, including any and all...
