Resolution reauthorizing the Director of Development to negotiate the sale of public lands located in the City of West Allis at 8** S. 72 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0004-001), 1000 S. 72 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0213-003) and 10** S. 72 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0213-002) to the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et. al.

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis (the “City”) is the owner of certain real property located at 8** S. 72 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0004-001), 1000 S. 72 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0213-003) and 10** S. 72 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0213-002); and,
WHEREAS, the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et. al, is acquiring the land to maintain the overall park; and,
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis's 2030 Comprehensive Plan calls for future land use of the Property to be “Public Land”; and,
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis does not have a long-term public use for said Property; and,
WHEREAS, Common Council approval is subject to the Plan Commission determination that the property is surplus public property.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of West Allis hereby reauthorizes the sale of 8** S. 72 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0004-001), 1000 S. 72 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0213-003) and 10** S. 72 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0213-002) to the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et. al.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council authorizes the Director of Development or his designee, to sell the property for one ($1) dollar and other good and viable consideration, to negotiate, enter into, execute and deliver into any Agreements or Documents pertaining to the Sale of Land, including, but not limited to an Offer to Purchase, by and between City of West Allis and School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et. al
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Agreem...
