Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Schmidt Engineering & Equipment, Inc. for furnishing one (1) used 1992 1400 ton per hour snow blower for a total net sum of $38,500.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing and delivering one (1) used snow blower for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the availability of a used low hour, high capacity piece of equipment; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Schmidt Engineering & Equipment, Inc. be accepted; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated September 23, 2003 submitted by Schmidt Engineering & Equipment, Inc.for furnishing and delivering one (1) used SNOGO MP-3D snow blower, s/n 3516 for the total net sum of $39,500.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment
