Title
An Ordinance to Amend Subsection 15.03(4)(b) and 15.03(4)(c) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to changing four family residences with private recycling collection services being exempt from the City Waste Management fee, and to require all four family residences to be charged a recycling fee on a quarterly basis.
Body
The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
Part I. Subsection 15.03(4)(b) and 15.03(4)(c) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to read
(b) Rates. The Common Council will establish rates for each fiscal year. All rates established by the Common Council will be fair and reasonable and calculated to achieve a balanced operating budget for the program. Current rates will be on file in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer.
(c) Billing Schedule. The billing schedule is as follows:
Customer Class 1 Solid Waste Management Billing Schedule
Single Family, duplexes, triplexes, and mobile homes
with individual water metered activity, Quarterly on Water Bill
Mobile home without individual water metered
Activity Monthly
Undeveloped Land No Charge
Customer Class 2 Solid Waste Management Billing Schedule
Four families charged recycling collection services only Quarterly on Water Bill
Part II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby amended
Part III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication
