Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of McNeilus Co. for furnishing and delivering cart tipper assemblies for a total sum of $37,500.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing and delivering thirty (30) cart tipper assemblies for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of McNeilius Co. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 8, 2003 submitted by McNeilus Co. for furnishing and delivering thirty (30) SSPII cart tipper assemblies with break-a-way cylinder and mounting base plate for a total net sum of $37,500.00 in a be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid material.
