Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Dueco, Inc. for furnishing and delivering one (1) Aerial Man Lift for a total sum of $39,634.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering one (1) 45' Articulating/Telescoping Aerial Man Lift, Platform Body and Cab Protector for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Dueco, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated April 8, 2005 submitted by Dueco, Inc. for furnishing one (1) 2005 Terex Utilities Model TL40P Aerial Man Lift for $39,634.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid equipment.
