WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2014 Project No. 14 be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2014 Project No. 14 for the sanitary sewer relay, sanitary sewer spot relays, concrete pavement patching, manhole adjustments and utility adjustments in:

W. Manitoba Street: S. 91st Street to S. 96th Street
W. Dakota Street: S. 92nd Street to S. 99th Street
W. Montana Street: S. 92nd Street to S. 96th Street

(PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1201, SP-1202, SP-1203, X-837)

for the sum of Four Hundred Eight-Eight Two Hundred Seventy-Three and 22/100 dollars ($488,273.22)

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, Bond Funds and Funds from Special...
