Title

An Ordinance to amend Section 2.76(6.5)(d)2 of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code relative to the amount of time employees in the Executive, Managerial, Deputy/Assistant Service have to establish residency in the City.

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I.  Section 2.76(6.5)(d)2 of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code is hereby amended by inserting the following sentences between the first and second sentences of the paragraph:

"Such employees shall have thirty-six (36) months to establish residency in the City.  In addition, up to two (2) six (6) month extensions may be granted by the appointing authority based on a good faith effort to establish such."

PART II.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART III.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication.
