Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Lincoln Contractors Supply, Inc. for furnishing and deliver one (1) 6" Portable Trash Pump for a total sum of $32,155.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering one (1) 6" portable trash pump for the PublicWorks Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Lincoln Contractors Supply, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated May 20, 2004 submitted by Lincoln Contractors Supply, Inc. for furnishing one (1) 2004 Godwin Pumps CD150M GP100 Special 6" portable trash pump for a total sum of $32,155.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of West Allis will be reimbursed through an insurance claim because the previous pump was stolen on November 7, 2003.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid equipment.
