Resolution relative to accepting the sole source proposal of Titan Public Safety Solutions (Tipss) for providing Court software for a total net sum of $25,731.50.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for Court Software for the Municipal Court of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Tipss be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the IT Department of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because it is able to interface with the State of WI DOT, WI Tracs, WI Dept of Revenue and others. It is also the most widely used system in the area designed specifically for the State of Wisconsin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated October 27, 2010, submitted by Tipss for providing TipssCourts 4 full access/1 View-only Workstation; 1 TipssDOT Interface; 1 TipssTax Intercept Interface; 1 TipssTracs Courts Interface & TipssCash Register 3 Workstations for $20,596.50 and annual system support fees for $5,135.00 for the total net sum of $25,731.50 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid software.
