Resolution relative to determination of Special Use Permit for ALDI to add alcohol beverage sales via a Class A Liquor License at 1712 S. 108 St.

WHEREAS, Tom Howald, d/b/a Aldi Inc., duly filed with the City Clerk an application for a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Sec. 12.16, Sec. and Sec. 12.43(2), of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis, for a Class A Liquor License at an existing Aldi's Grocery Store located at 1712 S. 108 St. and,
WHEREAS, after due notice, a public hearing was held by the Common Council on October 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., in the Common Council Chambers to consider the application; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council, having carefully considered the evidence presented at the public hearing and the following pertinent facts noted:
1. Tom Howald, d/b/a Aldi Inc., tenant, has offices 9342 S. 13 St. Oak Creek, WI 53154. The property is owned by Schecterle Commercial Properties 2, LLC. PO Box 1205, Brookfield, WI 53008.
2. The subject property is located at 1712 S. 108 St., West Allis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin; more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
A tract of land being in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 5, Township 6 North, Range 21 East, in the City of West Allis, Milwaukee County, State of Wisconsin, described as follows:
