Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Mueller Co., Ltd. for furnishing and delivering fire hydrants for a total sum of $92,472.03.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for fire hydrants for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Mueller Co., Ltd. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 8, 2010 submitted by Mueller Co., Ltd. for furnishing sixty-three (63) 2010 Super Centurian A423 fire hydrants for $1,467.81 each for a total sum of $92,472.03 in accordance with RFP #1063 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
