Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Peterbilt of Wisconsin for furnishing and delivering (1) 2003 41,000 GVW truck cab & chassis for a total sum of $65,655.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for fornishing and delivering one (1) 41,000 GVW low cab forward, right hand control truck cab & chassis for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Peterbilt of Wisconsin be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated January 15, 2003 submitted by Peterbilt of Wisconsin for furnishing and delivering one (1) 2003 Peterbilt 320 41,000 GVW low cab forward, right hand control truck cab & chassis for the total net amount of $65,655.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #707 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid equipment.
