Title
Resolution to approve a partial release of mortgage to Wellness Doctors, LLC as related to the property at 10025 W. Greenfield Avenue.
 
Body
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis approved and provided an Economic Development Loan under Legislative File Number R-2007-0196 dated August 7, 2007 to Charles D. Blodgett, d/b/a The Chiropractic & Wellness Groups, S.C. and the  Wellness Doctors, LLC towards the purchase of the property at 10025 W. Greenfield Avenue; and,
 
WHEREAS, Charles D. Blodgett, d/b/a The Chiropractic & Wellness Groups, S.C. and the  Wellness Doctors, LLC provided the City of West Allis with a second mortgage on the property for collateral to secure the loan; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation has issued a Jurisdictional Offer to purchase a portion of the site containing .047 acres and any site improvements within the area described under Attachment A -Legal Description as well as obtain a temporary limited easement to construct a driveway and make improvements to the site with respect to grade and vegetation; and,
 
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Department of Transportation has requested that Wellness Doctors LLC receive a partial release of mortgage in order for the release of Jurisdictional Offer funds to the primary lender on the property.    
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that it hereby approves a partial release of mortgage to Charles D. Blodgett, d/b/a The Chiropractic & Wellness Group, S.C. and the Wellness Doctors, LLC.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is hereby authorized to execute documents required by the aforesaid partial release of mortgage.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City Officers, or any of their authorized deputies, as necessary, are authorized on behalf of the City to execute the aforesaid documents.
