Resolution approving an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Programs Handicapped Accessibility-City Hall, Rogers Playground Project, and the S. 60 St. Business Assistance Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the CC has established Community Development Grant Programs Handicapped Accessibility-City Hall, Rogers Playground Project, and the S. 60 St. Business Assistance Project through the adoption of Annual Action Plans of FY 2007 and 2010; and,
WHEREAS, the projects are eligible for Community Development Block Grant funds as it fulfills Housing and Urban Development 's(HUD) national objective to assist low-to moderate individuals or areas; and,
WHEREAS, additional funds are required to complete the goals of the program; and
WHEREAS, Director of Development has recommended amending the project; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the CC of the COWA that it hereby approves an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Program, Annual Action Plans for FY 2007 and 2010, increasing the following programs as follows:
- Handicapped Accessibility- City Hall Project with a budget of $17,000 is increased by $38,000 for a total budget $55,000.
- Rogers Playground with a budget of $30,000 is increased by $20,000 for a total budget $50,000.
- S. 60 St. Business Assistance Project with a budget of $10,000 is increased by $5,000 for a total budget of $15,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funding for the above amendments are made available through a reduction to the following program:
$68,000 from the Contingency Fund
