Resolution relative to determination of Special Use Permit for Within Reason Resale and Consignment, a proposed second-hand article retail store, to be located at 1588 S. 81 St.

WHEREAS, Karlene Kraemer, d/b/a Within Reason Resale and Consignment, duly filed with the City Clerk an application for a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Sec. 12.16 and Sec. 12.41(2) of the Revised Municipal Code, to establish a second hand article retail store within the existing mixed-use property located at 1584-88 S. 81 St.; and,

WHEREAS, after due notice, a public hearing was held by the Common Council on February 3, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., in the Common Council Chambers to consider the application; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council, having carefully considered the evidence presented at the public hearing and the following pertinent facts noted:

1. The applicant, Karlene Kraemer, d/b/a Within Reason Resale and Consignment, resides at 1555 S. 77 St., West Allis, WI 53214. The property is owned by Dino P. and Karen Agnos, who reside at N89 W25259 Highland Preserve Ct., Sussex, WI 53089. The tenant has a valid offer to lease.

2. The applicant proposes to establish a second-hand article retail store, for the sale of the following items: general household goods, furniture, collectibles, antiques and clothing for all ages. The proposed retail floor area for the tenant space is approximately 500 sq. ft. and is located at 1588 S. 81 St., West Allis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as follows:

All that land of the owner being located in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 4, Township 6 North, Range 21 East, City of West Allis, Milwaukee County, State of Wisconsin describes as follows:

Lot 22 and South 4.00 feet of Lot 21, in Block 4 of the State Avenue Land Co's Subdivision.
