Resolution relative to accepting the proposals of various nurseries for furnishing and delivering 606 trees for spring planting for a total sum of $50,679.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it has received proposals for various species of trees for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals hereinafter mentioned be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposals submitted by Acorn Farms for $8,226.00, Chestnut Ridge Nursery for $10,570.00, John Deer Landscaping for $6,800.00, Johnson's Nursery for $847.00, Kankakee Nursery for $1,795.00, Meacham Nursery for $740.00, Schichtel's Nursery for $11,575.00, Tillman Wholesale Growers for $3,200.00 and Wayside Nurseries for $6,926.00 for a total amount of $50,679.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1251 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid trees.
