Resolution relative to accepting the proposals of various nurseries for furnishing and delivering 668 trees for spring planting for a total net sum of $58,224.00.
Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for various species of trees for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable: and
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals hereinafter mentioned be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposals submitted by Chestnut Ridge Nursery for 310 trees at $25,129.00, Goodmark Nursery for 162 trees at $18,035.00, Kankakee Nursery for 109 trees at $8,304.00, McKay Nursery for 9 trees at $495.00, Schichtel’s Nursery for 76 trees at $6,121.00, and Wayside Nursery for 2 trees at $140.00, for a total net amount of $58,224.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #1337, be and are hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid trees.
