Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Full Circle Computer Consulting LLC to provide four (4) APC Battery Backup Units for a total net sum of $9,690.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for four (4) APC battery backup units with new batteries; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Full Circle Computer Consulting LLC be accepted; and,

WHEREAS, the IT Division of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the cost savings of buying used equipment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 11, 2006 submitted by Full Circle Computer Consulting LLC for furnishing two (2) APC Symmetra 16Kva and two (2) APC SmartUPS 3000va battery backup units with new batteries for the total net sum of $9,690.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
