Title

Ordinance to amend subsections 12.10(2)(f) Accessory Buildings of the Revised Municipal Code relative to height of Accessory Buildings (garages). 

 

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

 

PART I.  Subsection 12.10(2)(f) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to read:

 

* * *

 

(f)                      Area and Height.

 

1.                     Garage(s) shall not exceed one thousand (1,000) square feet in total area.

2.                     Detached garage(s) may be built up to eighteen (18) feet in height above grade, but shall not exceed the height of the principal dwelling.

3.                     No garage (attached or detached) shall exceed the height of the principal dwelling.

4.                     Wall height of detached garages shall not to exceed 10-ft

 

PART II.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

PART III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
