Title
An Ordinance to Amend Subsection 11.17(1) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to Penalties for Violating the Provisions of Chapter 11.

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Subsection 11.17(1) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to read:
11.17 PENALTIES.

(1) Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter or failing to comply with any of the duties or requirements stated therein, except the provisions hereinafter specified in subsections (2) and (3) of this section, shall be fined not less that twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00), together with costs of prosecution and, in default of payments thereof, shall be imprisoned in the House of Correction until such fine and costs are paid, not to exceed sixty (60) days. Where the violation consists of failing to do a required act, each day shall be regarded as a separate offense.

PART II. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
