Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to contract with Illingworth-Kilgust Mechanical for furnishing and installing a replacement water heater at the Police Department Headquarters in the amount of $8,590.

WHEREAS, it was found that the water heater at the Police Department Headquarters developed a large water leak; and,  
 
WHEREAS, the leak could not be repaired; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works received three proposals for replacing the commercial grade water heater.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that up to $8,590 is hereby approved to be funded through the appropriate City account.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and complete the replacement work with Illingworth-Kilgust.
