Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Monroe Truck Equipment for furnishing and installing two (2) 2005 Crysteel dump bodies for a total sum of
$64,523.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and installing one (1) 10' and one (1) 14' dump truck bodies for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Monroe Truck Equipment be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 15, 2005 submitted by Monroe Truck Equipment for furnishing and installing one (1) 2005 Crysteel Select Tipper Series 10' stainless steel dump body for $30,047.00 and one (1) 2005 Crysteel Select Tipper Series 14' stainless steel dump body for $34,476.00 for the total net sum of $64,523.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #878 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
