Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Adair Commercial Flooring for installing new carpet on the 1^st floor of the Police Department Headquarters in the amount not to exceed $73,500.

Body

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing, delivering and installing new carpet at the Police Department Headquarters building; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Adair Commercial Flooring be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Adair Commercial Flooring be accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized and directed to issue the Purchase Order for the work.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer is directed and authorized to conduct and supervise all work and to take all appropriate actions in this matter with funding taken from the remaining bond funds totaling $46,000 and $37,5000 from the Building & Facilities Improvement Reserve.
