Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Traffic & Parking Controls for furnishing and delivering traffic signal lamps and housing assemblies for a total sum of $92,959.86.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing traffic signal lamps and housing for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Traffic & Parking Controls be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated July 29, 2008 submitted by Traffic & Parking Controls for furnishing various traffic signal lamps and housing assemblies for a total net sum of $92,959.86 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
