Title
Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) for furnishing Employee Lean Training for a 1-year period. It is estimated that up to four (4) training programs will be provided within the next year for an estimated cost of $41,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing Employee Lean Training for the Administrative Office of the City of West Allis; and,
WHEREAS, subsequent to the evaluation team rating the firms, the team recommended that the contract be awarded to WCTC; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of West Allis that the proposal of WCTC be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, The programs will be held at City Hall with eight (8) 3-hour sessions for a maximum of thirty (30) students per program. Additional programs will be held at the same price through June 30, 2016.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted April 1, 2015 by WCTC for furnishing Lean Training for the period July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 for a fee of $10,250.00 per program for a total estimated cost of $41,000.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1270 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
