WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2023 Project No. 11 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2023 Project No. 11 for the installation of Porous Asphalt Pavement over base course, curb and gutter replacement, miscellaneous concrete sidewalk, concrete driveway approaches, storm sewer and storm inlet replacement, light poles, and landscaping in:
S. 75th St. to S. 76th St., W. Greenfield Ave. to W. Madison St.

for the sum of Five Hundred, Seventy-three Thousand, Nine Hundred Two and 66/100 dollars ($573,902.66) be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding for the improvements will come from a combination of borrowed funds, cash on hand, and MMSD grant funding.
