Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Business Interiors by Staples for furnishing Audio-Visual Gondola Shelving for a total net sum of $31,413.50.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint proposal through UW-Madison for furnishing and delivering Jasper Library Furniture Audio-Visual Gondola Shelving for the Library; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Business Interior by Staples be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated January 25, 2011 submitted by Business Interiors by Staples for furnishing and delivering ten (10) Jasper Library Furniture double faced steel CD/DVD shelving and five (5) double faced paperback steel shelving for a total net sum of $31,413.50 in accordance with UW-Madison Contract 15-5665 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
