Title

Resolution Relative to the Notice of Hearing for the Vacation and Discontinuance of an Alley South of West Lincoln Avenue Between South 78^th Street and South 79^th Street.

Body

WHEREAS, the City is considering vacating and discontinuing an Alley South of West Lincoln Avenue between South 78^th Street and South 79^th Street.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Notice of Hearing, a copy of which is attached hereto, for the vacation and discontinuance of an Alley South of West Lincoln Avenue Between South 78^th Street and South 79^th Street, be published in the official City newspaper, the NOW, on July 10^th, 2008, July 17^th, 2008 and July 24^th, 2008; that the Hearing be scheduled before the Common Council on August 5^th, 2008, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard; that a copy of the aforesaid Notice be served or mailed more than thirty (30) days prior to the Hearing in the manner prescribed by the law on the owners of all of the frontage of the lots and lands abutting upon the said portion of an alley proposed to be vacated and discontinued.
