Resolution to approve bid of C.W. Ohio Avenue from S. 119th St. to S. 122nd St. and W. Holt Avenue from S. 119th St. to 290' East of S. 122nd St. in the City of West Allis in the amount of $731,669.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of C.W. Purpero, Inc. for 2011 Project No. 10 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of C.W. Purpero, Inc. for 2011 Project No. 10 for:
installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, miscellaneous walk repair, driveway replacement, sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer, building services and utility adjustments:
West Ohio Avenue from South 119th Street to South 122nd Street
West Holt Avenue from South 119th Street to 290' East of South 122nd Street
PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1162, SP-1163, U-2532, U-2533, U-2534, S-1439
for the sum of Seven Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-nine and 10/100 dollars ($731,669.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
