Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Bruce Municipal Equipment for furnishing and installing one (1) refuse collection packer for a total sum of $79,306.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for one (1) rear load refuse collection packer for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Bruce Municipal Equipment be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 23, 2010 submitted by Bruce Municipal Equipment for furnishing one (1) 2011 Heil DP-5000 rear load refuse collection packer for a total net sum of $79,306.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #1108 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
